Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
The Details…
I’m here to help you through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). One of the many techniques we'll use is the identification of negative thoughts, which can lead to self-discovery and insights essential to the treatment process. Additionally, you can start practicing new skills for real-world situations and set specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based goals, focusing on the process as much as the end outcome.
Moreover, we'll work on problem-solving and identifying false beliefs that may be contributing to your stressors and negatively impacting your mental health. Together, we'll address these issues and find effective strategies to improve your well-being.
Here are some other techniques that can help your well-being.
Identifying Negative Thoughts. We will discover what thoughts, feelings, and situations are contributing to your behaviours. Taking the time to identify these thoughts can also lead to self-discovery and provide insights that are essential to the treatment process.
Practicing New Skills. You will be taught new skills that can be used in real-world situations.
Goal-Setting. Goal setting can be an important step in recovery, helping you to make changes to improve your health and life. This might involve teaching you how to identify your goal or how to distinguish between short- and long-term goals. It will include helping you set SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based), with a focus on the process as much as the end outcome.
Problem-Solving. Problem solving can help you learn how to identify and solve problems that may arise from your particular stressors. The usual steps include: Identifying the problem, generating a list of potential solutions, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of each potential solution, choosing a solution to implement and Implementing the solution
My experience in Cognitive Behavioural therapy has been providing support for people who have the following conditions like anger, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, panic attacks, phobias, low self esteem, relationship problems and stress management.
